How do you get the fat cats in the big City to pay their staff a living wage?

Speak their language: £££.

We told City businesses that they were missing out on a way to make even more cash.

We teased businesses with social posts leading up to the official ‘market opening’.

We created an alternative stock market — one which was exclusive to London Living Wage accredited businesses. And launched the campaign by officially opening the market at the Museum of London:

We sent businesses a message where we knew they’d be. At their local stations...

And in the busiest square in the City: Aviva building, St Helen’s Square.

On social, we revealed the MANY business benefits of investing in people.

The press got talking...

The press got talking.

But, more importantly, so did the public (4 million, to be exact).

And, more importantly, so did the people.

And OVER 200 City businesses investED in their people. huzzah!

And we got more City businesses to pay their workers a wage that they deserved (10 more in the first month). Huzzah!
